I am Dare. One of a handful of full-time magicians for hire in Sydney and across Australia.

I have performed magic for over 20 years and specialise in close-up and stage magic using cards, mental effects, and mobile phones.

I provide modern and professional magic-based entertainment services for both large and small audiences, including: Trade Shows, Corporate Events, Roving Magic, Stage Shows, Public Speaking, Weddings, Private Parties, and Parlour Magic in the Sydney area.

I am qualified to master’s level as an electronics engineer and enjoy giving people something new by bringing my engineering background to magic.

I offer a range of magic options including close-up roving magic or parlour shows. I also offer stage shows for larger audiences and MC event hosting packages.

We can discuss your event, how many guests you expect, the location, performance times and any other relevant information that I need to know.

My magic and MC services are suitable for corporate events, birthday celebrations, weddings, trade shows, gala awards nights and all other types of parties and special occasions.

Every event is different, so after speaking with you to find out details about your event I will provide several booking options based on what you are looking for. All quotes will be provided via email so that you can read all the information before deciding which package to go for. 

If your booking is further than 2 hours from Sydney CBD or interstate, I will also factor in travel and accommodation costs into the quote.

The length of my performance depends on the type of event and number of guests. My packages can be adjusted based on the client’s needs and this is something we can discuss during your initial phone consultation.

Typically, roving magic performances are for 1-3 hours. Sometimes as short as 30 minutes or as long as 4 hours.

My stage magic show options are 10, 20, 30 or 45 minutes depending on the event, number of guests and the room layout.

Yes, I am able to fly interstate within Australia. I am based in Sydney, however I have performed magic in Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Perth and New Zealand.

I provide flexibility when working with each client and am able to discuss options for collaboration and customisation if you require a specific performance. This may also include dressing to fit in with particular themes.

I have my own public liability insurance. I don’t perform magic associated with any safety risks associated (fire, knives, escapology etc.)

I do not offer magic lessons or workshops at this current time.

I have been performing magic since the age of 10 and as a professional full-time magician in Sydney since 2015. I have extensive experience working with corporate clients as well as private bookings throughout Sydney and nationally.

I keep up to speed with the latest magic trends to ensure my magic is as modern, engaging and entertaining as it possibly can be using playing cards, mobile phones and tricks of the mind!

My background as a corporate engineer also ensures that I provide a high level of professionalism and communication when dealing with clients to ensure you get the best quality of service for you and your guests.

I can take bookings up to 18 months in advance. Depending on availability, I can also take last minute bookings. However, it’s best to book in advance as soon as you know your event details.

I ask for a deposit to secure your booking and then require payment in full before the day of the performance. If, for some reason, your event is cancelled I will provide a refund minus your deposit – providing it is within the cancellation timeframes. If your event needs to be moved and I am available for the alternative date, I will be able to perform on the new date free of charge.

My magic is suitable for ages 12 and up. I do work with other magicians that I can recommend, who are able to provide services specifically for children’s parties. I can perform at parties where there are children present, however my magic is better suited to entertain the adults.
